Respect Matters

A month ago, we had a parents' HRPTA meeting. We’ve known each other for a while, since our kids were classmates in the previous grade level. I was re-elected as HRPTA President, just as I was last year. We discussed ways to support the children and the class adviser to make their learning smoother and easier.

We decided on a project: a 3-in-1 printer costing ₱10,300.00, which was agreed upon by the majority.

Before finalizing the project, we shared the details and the cost per parent in our group chat. Thanks to the generosity of some parents who contributed more than the required amount, the individual share became lower.

After that group chat conversation, I also mentioned that if anyone had questions or clarifications, they could send me a direct message if they weren’t comfortable posting in the group.

I was confident that the project had everyone’s approval. But one afternoon, the class adviser messaged us in the group chat saying she wanted to talk to me. I was surprised and puzzled. When I arrived at her room, Ma’am was already crying; someone had dropped her name on social media. Unfortunately, the project did not push through.

What kind of person does that? Naming someone publicly like that? I know you’re now feeling guilty for what you did. Just remember, karma doesn’t miss. One of these days, it will come back to you a hundredfold.

Before you take any action, think ten times. Act only when you’re at peace; you won’t regret it in the long run.

Second Grade Wonder in Action

Every day begins with bright eyes and endless curiosity. Whether it’s watching ants march or birds glide, the world is one big adventure. Questions like “Why is the sky blue?” and “How do cars move?” come naturally in this quest for wonder.

🌟 School Days Full of Surprises

The classroom buzzes with excitement and imagination. Creative projects, colorful drawings, and wild ideas, like a superhero dog rescuing the playground, make every day feel brand new.

This video captures him reciting the poem ‘Shoes’ by Tom Robinson.

Young Goalie in Action

On the soccer field, there's no stopping this determined defender. Diving, blocking, and guarding the goal with fierce focus, this little goalie shows how grit and teamwork go hand in hand.

🗣️ Words to Live By

A favorite phrase echoes through every stumble and triumph: “It’s okay to make mistakes, but learn from them.” Whether it’s missing a save or redoing a sketch, every moment is a chance to grow.

🤝 Friends and First Hellos

Starting off shy, it doesn’t take long to make friends. Fun and friendship fuel the joy of turning ordinary days into mini-adventures.

🎈 One of a Kind

A blend of wonder, wisdom, and a touch of wackiness, this second grader reminds us that life's best lessons often come from those who see magic in the simplest things. That’s the everyday story of Burdugoy.
